Benjaming's Clan

Celtic pop rock

Benjaming’s clan arouse in 2013 as a continuation of the band “Benjaming Band,” which was originally founded in 2002.

The year 2002 marks the birth of the band named “Benjaming Band”, which launches in a purely family-based format. Specifically, it consists of three sons and their father, who all set out on their musical journey together. During this first era of “Benjaming Band,” the band’s dummer Máťa matures into adolescence, having played since the mere age of 8. Meanwhile, his older brothers, guitarist Kuba and bagpipest Lukáš, discover their first loves, taste their first beers and grow up (sort of). And what about their bassist dad, Olda? Well, he is re-living his adolescent days for a second time.

At the start of 2013 the band that was known as “Benjaming Band,” ceases to exist. A new era dawns and along with the addition of new musicians comes a diversion from the original electric instruments to acoustic ones, a name-change to “Benjaming’s Clan,” and finally an overall music genre overhaul from celtic punk to celtic pop rock.
